joy, oh joy. the lift has broken down again. and SS claim the door was forced. anyone know who the Argos people were serving on the 5th floor who claim the lift simply stopped working after someone used it AFTER they, Argos, had finished bringing goods up? They seemed genuine and I certainly saw no signs of the door being forced when I walked down to the 5th floor to see why the lift was not coming up to the 6th floor. At that time the door to the lift was simply not closing but there was no visible obstruction.
has anyone else found this is sticking again?
Come to the meeting at 7pm in the Paragon this Monday 7th December
Thanks for comments re problems re parking spaces. I had the same problem. I found that the space my landlord had told me to use, and he says he was told by SS, was a temporary allocation. I got him to check with SS and they told us the actual allocated space- a different one to the one I'd used for almost 2 years.
great thanks must be given to whoever (presumably the cleaner) has cleared up the stinking mess in the communal bin area.
it is great that new people are moving in. lets hope everyone starts chatting via this blog
has anyone else tried to get Stevens Scanlan to fix the front door? They claim there is nothing wrong with it, despite it failing to close again- after being fixed a week ago.
I love living so close to the Rainbow. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience going to the superb UB40 concert on 3rd November
the flowers are now blooming nicely on the balcony. we've had one Pimms party. hopefully we will have more.
lots of bees are visiting which is great.
and a lady in the flats opposite says the residents there, love the colourful balcony
so the affordable flats did not happen- will the improvements to Bradford Street and other such promised local improvements ever happen?
